I am a 55 yr. old male and have been a regular listener of WUEV since 1975 (or longer). I have been a musician since the late 60's. While I am not classically trained, I do appreciate music that is played well. And that goes for all genres of music...rock, blues, soul, jazz, acoustic, symphonic. Commercial radio, in general, has drifted further and further away from real music. Rap, hip-hop and house seems to be the dominate choice for most commercial radio music directors. Of course they are playing to the age segment market who is in turn being tracked, demographically by market people who buy the advertising that pay the radio administrators salaries. But what about the real music? Where has it gone? Simply stated, real music resides with the commercial free stations that do not rely upon market segments and demographics. That's WUEV's legacy in our community...to provide quality, real music programming, for people who appreciate music. Count me as one of those people. Please do not allow WUEV to become just another commercial radio pandering to whichever way the dollar winds blow.

Thank you
