Once again, I can only imagine what kind of crack the powers that be must be smoking. I just got an email from Len Clark today regarding the situation. As an alumna who lives in Louisville, I had no information about what was going on back at UE. WUEV was my second home and I made friends that I miss now more than I miss people I went to school with my whole life. Without the lessons I learned there, my life would literally be completely different. For as long as I can remember, the University has never taken the station or its achievements seriously. How many awards do you have to win before you get their attention? And what do you have to do to get more support from the mass communication department? When the department moved from Olmsted to Graves how many times did faculty come to the station and see what's going on? This is just another reason that I will be dead in my grave before I give UE one red cent.
