Just read the Crescent article. You have got to be kidding me - the current station manager graduated in 2002 - has no graduate degree and limited experience.
No wonder there are no academic ties. that person came in with less experience that the WUEV producers.
Looks to me as if it was done for one purpose. Athletics.
The more we hear, the more disturbed I get.

Yes--I agree he is a far cry from Len Clark who had 5 degrees including graduate degrees from the University of Notre Dame and Indiana State University and over 20 years of broadcast experience. It illustrates a poor decision of the University of Evansville to put Marsha Dowell in the position she is in. Obviously, she brought in someone with lackluster credentials because she was intimidated by how much more qualified Len Clark was to work and walk the halls of UE than she is.

I, too, agree, the many producers I remember would have been better choices. Remember Christina McDade? She would have been a terrific choice, but she was into Jazz not SPORTS.
As we talk about WUEV and what is best, we need to emphasize the business side of media. Hiring adjuncts is also a start
